The conference will take place in the Haevichi Hotel & Resort. Although the WASLI 2023 conference is formal, it also allows for networking and bringing home great memories, by enjoying this luxurious hotel, fabulous comfort and great facilities. In addition, we will be spending quality time with our interpreter peers.

Q: Where is the Haevichi Hotel & Resort located?

The hotel is located in Jeju Island, Korea. The address is 537, Minsokhaean-ro, Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, 63629, Republic of Korea. It will take about 1 hour to reach this Hotel from the Jeju International Airport.

Q: How do we get to the Haevichi Hotel & Resort from the Jeju International Airport upon our arrival?

Haevichi's Bus

If you have booked at the Haevichi Hotel & Resort, the hotel will provide free shuttle bus services to pick you up from the Jeju International Airport. Please make your reservation 1-2 days before departure. Once the bus is fully booked, no additional bus will be provided. Please find out more details about the pickup location at the airport. Below is the shuttle schedule.

Taxi

You can take a taxi from the airport to the conference venue. It takes an hour, and the cost will be around US$40-US$50.

Public Bus #121 and #122: Jeju Airport – Daecheondong – Pyoseon (Jeju Folk Village)

Direction: Take the bus at airport gate 1 and get off at Jeju Folk Village (final stop), and then walk 5 mins to the back entrance of the resort. (approx. 90-120 minutes, costs ₩1,200 - ₩4,000)

Q: Staying in a different hotel?

If you book a different hotel, you may need to arrange your own transport to your hotel. Please note that not all hotels / rentals provide bus shuttle services.
